Reem didn't get suspended. He was not licensed by NSAC when he fail the drug test. It is actually questionable whether they could give him a random drug test while he was not licensed by them, but that is not here nor there. Reem is not suspended, just denied a license.

Overeem was told he'd be given two randoms in the next six months. This was after he left the country at the time of his last test and had some corrupt doctor over there test him.

And overeem was suspended. Or so every mma media outlet online reported..

Nick knew they tested for weed and has been popped before. Whether weed being a banned substance is right or wrong, he knew what was at stake if he got caught. I don't expect him to get far with this but I hope he fights again when his suspension is up. He fucked up. Deal wit it.

Every MMA Media Outlet would be wrong in this case then. They can't suspend a fighter that is not licensed by them. He is just denied a license and they won't give him one for 9 months. I know it is basically the same thing, but the two cases are very different.

I like the angle he and his lawyers are taking here, but it all seems moot considering he failed to report his "prescription" to the AC prior to the fight.
