It's obvious that this would happen to alot of ufc fighters if they think that they can just jump into boxing proffesionaly and not drop mma to focus on boxing full time. You could clearly tell withinin the first 45 seconds that the boxers technique is on a different level. boxing is a whole different sport, and a whole different kind of science when it comes to foot placement and movement, defence, offence,sway,head movement and so many other facters that can take play.
Same goes for a guy who's been boxing his whole life and tries taking a pro mma fight, good chance he's gonna get chocked out. Melvins speed is and power make up for his technical stand up skills which is why he's a dominate factor in mma.
