I'd have to disagree about the better fighters comment, the line-up is good but I wouldn't say better fighters. Plus they only have announced 5 fighters, we have no idea who the others are. I'm sure Enfusion isn't going to have a whole cast up to Drago, Yakut, and Panjonsuk's standards, they will have some filler fighters also. If they do bring in some other big names, it could change my mind. I am interested in seeing how Giorgio's brother does though.

They've actually announced 15 fighters (from 15 different countries)

While I'm sure TCA2 will be entertaining, unless I'm missing something TCA2 doesn't have anyone of Drago, Kaas, or Pajonsuk's caliber. That's what I meant by better fighters. imho, every fighter doesn't have to be elite, but having at least 3 elite guys and some unknowns is better than a few good fighters and some mediocre fighters. It gives the unknown guys a chance to pull upsets. I'd rather watch the guys above than Bang Ludwig or Kit Cope I guess is what I'm saying.

kushfight wrote:Like I said, there's a lot of filler fighters, none of the other fighters mentioned are near Drago, Kaas, or Pajonsuk's level. TCA2 seems too have a lot of up and coming fighters who are starting to make their name in Muay Thai, mixed with old vets, and unknowns. The Up and coming fighters are what excites me for TCA2; Oberg, Madigan, and Artem. Oberg has 2 recent victories over Jabba. Madigan is a new big thing in AUS and has a fairly recently destroyed Soren MTG. Levin has a record of 33-2, with his only losses coming to Yod. and Jan De Kayzer, he also holds a win over Nonthanun Por. Pramuk and Madsua. Pique is also a favorite and I would consider him on Drago and Kaas' level, or a little below(since he's lost to both), but he holds wins over some top competition for sure. TCA2 seems like it will be more entertaining also, but different people have different opinions. Bang and Kit were Def. put on the show for ratings not skill (Duane used to be a threat . . . like 6 years ago) and I don't mind watching them get beat to a pulp.

Point taken Kush.
Maybe I just have a bug up my ass over TCA2's automatically eliminating most of the world's best MT fighters because they need everybody to speak english on a Muay-THAI show, called The Contender ASIA, being filmed in Malaysia. As a tri-lingual american, the "everybody needs to speak english" crowd kinda gets on my nerves sometimes, especially when they take their act overseas. Also Yod and Naruepol were two of the people I liked most after seeing TCA1 (seriously, how can you root against a guy who's planning on giving all his prize money to his impoverished mother, storylines like that are good in any language).
Either way, both shows should be very entertaining.
btw Kush, just noticed the Wu Tang lyric on your sig. Awesome. Best rap group evah...
