Yeah not tapping is so fucking cool bro. BRO POUND.

Crashing to the mat and looking like a goof at the same time, I call that a warrior, a fucking Samurai.

By the way, Big Nog tapped after his arm snapped.

straight up, nine times out of ten machida taps. it dont not appear he had proper to to even tap. that choked was locked in from the second he went for it. The torque of his body just made it much worse. lyoto is as close to samurai as commercially possible. Dude is a MMA warrior.

Yeah people don't even know where this quote came from, or in what tone of voice this was said. For all we know he was just joking. Jones to me comes off as a guy who likes to have fun and joke around. People need to stop taking stuff so seriously. I mean do you guys honestly think that Jones believes that was a karate match? Geez...

I honestly just find it funny seeing a bunch of middle-aged men angry about this 24-year-old making all their favorite fighters look bad. Can we just appreciate the talent of this young athlete and watch him fight? He's got one of the most exciting styles I've seen in a while and has steamrolled through everybody, yet people still just call him "Flashy and arrogant." Ok...well if that's all he was, he wouldn't be the first person to defend the belt more than once since Chuck Liddell, in the shark tank that is the LHW division. Everybody he has faced hasn't given him any problems whatsoever. I mean think about this. He's fought Shogun "Fucking" Rua, one of the kings of Pride, Rampage Jackson, yet another big name of Pride, and Lyoto Machida, the former ruler of the LHW division. Now Machida did give him some issues, but that was in the form of a few solid strikes landed.

Out of all the major warriors Jones has faced, his biggest issue has been a few solid blows. I bet most champions wish they could say that, but the majority of them can't. I was actually cheering for Machida in that fight because he was doing so well, but suddenly it was like the flip of a light switch and Jones was in control of the fight and won a minute or so later (or at least that's how I remember the fight happening). It's not often you see that, but Jones was able to adapt and reign supreme in the course of a few minutes. And it wasn't some Scott Smith schoolyard bullshit; it was mid-fight gameplanning and adapting. Jones is right, he IS a smart fighter. He may not be as skilled as a politician when it comes to some of the things he says publicly, but come on people, he's 24, hasn't taken any sort of PR classes, and is in the business of FIGHTING. Let his wars do the talking.

6. No fighter bashing, no promoter bashing, no organization bashing, no group bashing and no MMA personality bashing. You can say you do not like any of these people or organizations and show disdain but saying "F$&K" them or other extreme insults will be considered bashing.

That's some funny shit Jones. You beat Lyoto after you took him down and hit him with an elbow, then he wasn't the same afterwards and then you knocked him down and CHOKED him out. Karate match, my ass.

I don't know where you come from, but at the gym where I got my black nelt in UFC that's what karate class consists of.
