there are 2 extremes we see when we see jones, we see the fighter and we see the talker...and those 2 are polar opposites so therefore something must be wrong. there is no way that a professional fighter as dangerous as him can be so uninteresting in his interviews if he is so spectacular in the ring. he should learn how to promote fights like a bunch of non champions rather than fight fights like he does. he should be talking about eating people's kids, but instead he is thanking god that he can fulfill his destiny. the only obvious conclusion is that he is fake.
Did u watch teh videos I posted.... I cant go back and find all of the interviews but I have my reasons for dislliking him im not insulting his credibility as a fighter people dont like Anderson and it doesnt bother me and they also attack his credentials which is the only thing that grinds my gears.
i dont know if i saw the vids that you posted specifically, but i've seen enough people overreact to anything he says to be certain that he'll never catch a break. there isnt one public figure on this planet that wouldnt come off as inconsistent if 50% of the people who have heard of them were picking apart every little thing they said with negative intent.
thats the part that people dont realize, he's not doing or saying anything out of the norm. but since most mma fans cant like more than one good fighter at a time they become critics. and a critics job is to criticize, and when someone like jones cant really be criticized for his talents and abilities they attack his character. its so simple its mind blowing that i seem to be the only one who's picked up on that.
back when jone's unorthodox and sloppy striking was gonna be the reason he'd get KO'd in his next fight, there wasnt a ton of people claiming he was fake. his attitude and behavior barely changed since then. but what has changed was the fact that its become more and more obvious that he is not gonna get outwrestled, or outstruck, or submitted by anyone in the division any time soon and there is no doubt that he is the best fighter so as an mma critic the only hope anyone has is to focus on every interview...every twitter quote, his religious beliefs, and his confidence to try and tarnish this man somehow. you can make any fighter look like a complete dick if you do that long enough.
look at this thread....everyone here knows henderson is old. but when jones says it, that means he is being fake humble or there is some other personality flaw surfacing.
