How much will being off PED's affect Sonnen vs Silva II ???

Will the rematch go all 5 rounds again or will Silva put an end to Chael Sonnen?

Not as much as the first fight hopefully...because he has to be at no more than a 6:1 ratio.

yeah i dint think one point of testosterone will affect the fight..now if Sonnen didn't use TRT at all.. maybe

Sonnen is still on TRT, last time the paperwork was messed up and there was a huge misunderstanding, so he was suspended for it. Now, he is still on TRT, but he is cleared and is all checked out.

Sonnen's testicals can't produce enough testosterone so he has permission to be on TRT.

it would be curious to see a bit of a lab project on TRT. huge variables i know, but take a young guy and an old guy, boost their levels, monitor strength, endurance, fatigue, recovery time, then wean out for two months and monitor the same things at the later date

For it to have any real meaning you would need to do it on a 100 different patients not to mention some form of control. It would definitely would be a good study to read though.

The thing I learnd recently in class(Fysiotherapy) is that the benefits from testosterone can last years after their last use. Testosterone will optimize protein synthesis within the muscle cell. One way for the body to do so is to create new nuclei in the cell. The more nuclei you have in a muscle cell, the better it will be at synthesizing protein. And while you stop using of testosterone supplements, extra nuclei can remain in the cell for months, even years.

what you guys don't understand is that anderson wanted to win by submission the first time to shut chaels mouth about the nogueira black belt comment "happy meal"
we all know how crappy andersons ground game is, and we all know he had an injured rib AND sonnen had the testosterone levels of 14 men

this time, sonnens testosterone should be normal, and even if it was that of 14 men, anderson isn't injured, and anderson is going in to win the way he likes to win, he's going to fight the way he likes to fight, his specialty, the stand up.

Chael Sonnens like that giant coiler you drop in the toilet that just doesnt go away after one flush and requires a second flush.

Oh yeah because that's EXACTLY what happened. I can't believe people are still backing this and then you're actually agreeing with it.

Even IF the paperwork wasn't screwed up, let's say it went through perfectly...Chael's T:E levels were so high that he would have STILL gotten suspended. Yet we're the naive ones? There's no two ways about it, he cheated, and his testosterone levels were about as high as they would had he used straight up anabolic steroids.
