Last I checked, traps and ambushing weren't a Saiyan trait. For someone who portrays themselves as a proud and noble Saiyan he certainly doesn't act like it.

Goku was such a pussy, everytime he was up against someone better, he ran off etc. Vegeta fought for pride even though he knew he would lose.

Brolly and Freeza...Anytime Vegeta feels over-matched (before he's even tried) he bitches out and everyone else steps up. Goku does a tactical retreat when in the same situations and gets back into it until he literally can't anymore. He even fought the androids when he was about to die from a heart disease...

It's quite obvious that Toriyama sold out and made Goku the best. Original plot notes indicate that Gohan was supposed to surpass his father (ala Perfect Cell saga). Following the original story would have been one that ultimate follows human story telling methodology. If you have looked into Joseph Campbell's Path of the Hero (as mentioned in Joe Rogan's Podcast).

The Path of the Hero can be witnessed in countless tales throughout history: Star Wars, Lion King, Spider-Man, etc...

The young hero must face the demons of his father (parental figure) and overcome the secrets that are later revealed to him in order to claim his rightful place and grow into manhood, sort of like a right of passage that he must earn.

Anywho, Goku was a great character, but GT isn't part of the story and the Buu saga was not originally intended to be part of the saga and thus I don't like it because the Buu saga seems to detract from the overall story and character development. GT (self-admittedly I never watched it in its entirety) was made by some fan boys with Akira's permission.

Yeah but fighting in SS4 with those gamma rays or what ever they are called. GSP wasn't man enough to fight in SS3 he only accepted to fight out of BJ's natural Power level.


Goku's allways been one of my favourites after Piccolo but i've been watching A LOT of team four star DBZ lately, Vegeta is awesome there.

yea ss4 might. but vegeto? was that the one who battled buu? him i doubt would even come close. ss4 would be cheating though cause vegeta didn't transform into ss4 naturaly.

yea, gt ruined it for me the only thing good about it was pretty much goku vs baby. most of the series was goku, pan and trunks trying to find the dragon balls. it was bs.

as the legendary ssj i think he was the equivalent of ssj3. the collar he had kept his power in check so i don't know if he really had full control of his powers.

and also when every saiyan transforms into the ape its hard for them to have full control of their power and since its a similar case with broly wouldn't he have the same problem? his power was always held in check. would that come in to play? would it make a difference?
