I'm not sure if this has been posted already but I had a question does anyone know what the excercise GSP is doing in the beginning of the video? I'm curious on what it works out and what it is? Thank You?

He is looking okay for the most part cant wait to see him fight again... I know I'll get flak for that from all of the trolls and GSP haters.

Me too, I'm a big fan. Haters be damned!!
Anger he smiles towering in shiny metallic purple armour
Queen jealousy, envy waits behind him
Her fiery green gown sneers at the grassy ground
Blue are the life giving waters, taken for granted
They quietly understand

Are you talking about the very first thing he's doing? His head and shoulders on the ball, one leg on the ground and the other extended in the air? He's doing a couple of things there, one thing is that he is doing here is getting a core workout, just holding yourself in that position will get you a good core workout and I'm sure on top of that the trainer is having him tense his abdominals too. By holding his right leg straight out like that he's also working out the muscles on his leg specifically the quads on that side, he's doing a little bit of strengthening there as well as increase the endurance of those muscles. One of the big things that you have to do after an ACL surgery is strengthen all the muscles around it in order to increase the dynamic stability.
I'll admit it.. I'm a HUGE Jon Jones fan.. repping the 607 baby!

Yes I am, and the whole quad muscle in general or is there a specific part he is working?

Yeah he's working all 4 of the muscles that make up the quads, the quads extend the knee. So by holding his leg out straight he's getting a good isometric contraction of the whole quad.

IMO he has very high testostrone right now because they know they wont test him. They best and things for recovery is time, rest and high hormones. He could be on a TRT program like a close friend Nate Mar. To me he has way to much muscle for the amount of body fat. He has the ratio of a bodybuilder not mma fighter. He is not even competing and he has no body fat/water. He does not have the ECTOMORPH body type like Snoop Dogg. I know hes never tested positive for anything ever. I just really believe that there is help there my own opinion.

Idk he has a very lean body I dont think he is as big as people make him out to be I think Kos is just as lean and has more muscle imo

Yeah you could do this exercise regardless of whether or not you've torn your ACL.. It's almost impossible to isolate any muscle in the quad for exercise so I would suggest doing quad strengthening exercises, squats are good, leg extension on the machine (try doing them one leg at a time so one leg isn't compensating for the other), ect.
