edit: just got informed they are longtime trading partners. That throws a wrench into my theory

Melvins got the power though
As for the ground, if Cerrone gets his back its probably over.
Cerrone could pull guard and it would be over

irishmike357 wrote:I think an overlooked aspect of this fight is that Guillard was at his very best when training under Greg Jackson. He has since left there. Cerrone however still trains there and that will be a huge advantage for him. I am not a fan of GJ, but if you give him a ton of info on a fighter and let him come up with a game plan he will do a great job. Cerrone is skilled enough to win no matter where this fight goes, Guillard needs to land bombs and hope for a KO.

I still think that if they keep it on the feet and Cerrone decides to trade punches it could very well go Guillard's way. A brawl would favor him IMO but Cerrone is technically better.

Do you think Cerrone has the wrestling to get it to the mat? Guillard is a good wrestler and very strong and explosive.
