Great for Stann to save lives but all these soldiers are brainwashed anyway to lead them to believe they are actually doing good. America is the devil its clear to me. And my brother is a decorated Afhghanistan and Iraq vet.

that wasn't really necessary and irrelevant

But very true.

not really. most of the people in the military join for reasons outside of ideology. a huge number of service members don't agree with the wars right now or the politics behind them. way to make a bias statement though

Good rebound performance by Stann. Nice to see him stop when he saw that Sakara was out.

He took like 20 shots before he was KO'ed. He was almost there before the last few. He has a good jaw to last that long. Paulo Thiago though... That looked weak.
Account bet lost. Thanks Frank Mir for the worst display in your career. That was the most boring fight I have seen in a long time and maybe it's time for you to hang them up!

42 soldiers made it home in one piece because of Brian Stann. THAT'S how a real vet acts. He's not shoving it down people's throats, he's just proud of his country and what he's done for it. From 2006-2008 he was actively serving and fighting as well and using his accumulated leave time to train and fight.

I come from a family of vets and my brother takes the stann route where he feels the need to work the fact that he is into conversations constantly. trust me its irritating. my uncle that has the distinguished service cross, which is just below the medal of honor, feels no need to talk about it. nor my half brother who is a purple heart recipient. nor do 98 percent of the people I've served with, bronze stars purple hearts and all. he's no more special than any other vet, he just is one of those few that feel the need to make it his whole persona. the only people I know who have served that act like that do it as a self promotion, to try picking up chicks, or look like as badass.
you asked a question, I gave you an answer. arguing with the answer isn't going to change anything. the answer to your question is some people find that off putting.

Yeah I was super surprised to see Paulo get slept like that from the punch that landed - I'm not trying to say Siyar doesn't hit hard or that it wasn't a hard punch when combined with Thiago's forward momentum but STILL .... dude was DEAD, lol.

Yeah, when I was watching it live and he just fell down unconscious I was like "WTF?!!?!"

You couldn't even see the punch land. It was short but he wasn't expecting it I guess so that's why he got KO'ed

Brian Stann, you hit extremely, EXTREMELY hard! Way to go boss.

Alessio has become even more badass in my book for taking such a difficult fight. He'll be back and cracking skulls soon enough.

Haha it's alright. I said the same thing during the fight.

Literally. If I can describe the events:

Stan rocks Sakara. (I am rooting for Stan because he's an American hero.)

Stan follows Sakara to the ground.

I remember how shitty he did on the ground against Chael, and remember that Sakara is a BJJ black belt.

I type my post "why did he follow him to the ground?"

As I'm hitting submit, I hear "IT IS ALL OVER!!!!"

I look up, half expecting Stan to have been submitted.

Then I feel stupid.

Then: Insert foot into mouth.

Fantastic work by Stan, sorry for underestimating him and his judgement. Well played.
